Subject Line
OFFER: item description (neighborhood)
TAKEN: item description
WANTED: item description (neighborhood)
RECEIVED: item description
Don't say "pending pick-up," "re-offer" or "free" in subject line.
Use ALL CAPS for key word only (i.e. OFFER or TAKEN).
All members must follow these guidelines.
Message Body
Describe a single item or logical group (table & chairs, stack of bricks, etc.) If a photo would help, post one and include a link in your offer.
WANTED posts are OK in moderation.
One item every 7 days max. Don't re-post item for 30 days.
Just describe the item. Don't say, "I desperately need..."
No WANTEDs for plants or pets.
Respond to offerer directly to arrange pick-up.
Email moderators with questions or comments.
It's your stuff.
You are free to choose among responders. Just be nice.
If your item doesn't get picked up, it's OK to offer again in 7 days.
Deal person to person.
Don't say, "it's out on the curb, first one gets it."
Wastes gas, makes people angry if they drive and it's gone.
It is OK to OFFER pets,
but keep it legal & be lovingly careful.
No politics, charity appeals, coupons, spam or ads.
No buying, selling, borrowing or trading.
Moderators will ban abusers. Two strikes, you're out.
