The Freecycle Network(TM) in Anchorage is open to all Anchorage residents who want to "recycle" something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post an offer for it; unless it is a live animal, gun, or prescription medication. Maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Go ahead and post a wanted message asking for it.
One constraint: everything posted must be free, appropriate for all ages and it must be legal.

We have found that it is almost impossible to get people to read the rules once they are members, so to insure that each member reads the rules, there is a short easy quiz before membership is approved. When you ask to join, the rules and the quiz will be emailed to you. Once you return it with the correct answers, your membership will be approved.
