Dear Atrocities Subscribers,
In several days, the Feminist Peace Network Atrocities list will be no more (although the archive will remain on the web). In this age of blogs, it just isn't an efficient means of getting news out and the bottom line is I don't have the time to do everything and am trying to focus on the media that reaches the most people. For some time now I've been posting blog updates to this list and I'd like to invite you to subscribe to the blog update list. If you subscribe you will get the weekly list of posts from our blog as well as urgent Action Alerts. If you would like to subscribe to that list, send an email to fpn@... and I will add your name.
I want to thank each of you for subscribing to Atrocities and for your interest in knowing about the many kinds of violence that is committed against women each day. We will continue to cover these topics on the blog and I hope you will join the new list.
