Group for Chicago FCC families that live in the Fox Valley area and are in the process or have completed an adoption from China. This is a group to discuss past experiences, ask questions and share advice regarding adopting a child from the People's Republic of China. It is also an area to discuss and plan Fox Valley area events as well as Chicago FCC sponsered events.

We (the owners/moderators of the group) are members of the Chicago FCC chapter. We live in Oswego and are currently waiting (LID 10/19/06) for our first adopted daughter. We have started this group as a way to get to know other families in the area with adopted children from China and to occupy our time (and minds) during the long wait.

While being a member of the Chicago FCC chapter is not required to join this group, please note that FCC Chicago sponsered events do require membership to attend. It is only $30 per year and is a great resource for anyone in any stage of the adoption process.
