FOTR is the group email list for "Families On The Road". The great majority of us "homeschool", "roadschool", "unschool",altho some of us may use a variety of other schooling options at one time or another.

This group are geared towards anyone interested in the lifestyle, whether they are families who RV fulltime, part-time, just a weekend, or those who are contemplating or... just dreaming of such an adventure! You don't have to have an RV to join, & you don't need to have children to join! Any "fur-kids" or pets welcome as well! :)

We love for everyone to share experiences, ideas & information related to living on the road. Discussion topics might include buying an RV for a family, schooling options on the road, & connecting to the internet while RVing. Also storage options, what to take with you, homebases, all the sights to see! An endless list!

Please note!!! We're a partially moderated group. Messages from new/newer members are moderated so that we don't get spam. Messages will be approved as often as possible. The list owner is on the road a great deal, & so are the the moderators. Also, some members still get their email via a very slow dial-up, or via cell phone, & a great many may have limited time or limited data. Please be considerate in trimming excess. :)

Please remember, this is a *G*/*E* rated family list, where children may also be reading. Let's keep it family friendly & "kid" friendly when posting a message. This is not the place for politics or religious emails.
