Indian Penal Code 498a misuses the sympathy word "women" and arrests innocent mothers and sisters without investigation. It provides extraordinary powers to daughter-in-laws. This group shall specifically Fight against IPC 498a a draconian anti-dowry law based on : "Guilty until proven innocent"

Dowry Laws were re-enacted in mid '80s to better protect the daughter - in laws that were abused.
But there are 100s of citations where IPC 498a is misued by urban women esp against
NRI [Non Residential Indians] parents that are vulnerable to local Indian politics.
