When, I wondered, was the last time this country was guided by such a leader? Someone whose moral center was un-embargoed? Someone with courage instead of mere ambition? Someone who truly thinks of his country's citizens as "we," not "they"? Someone who understands what it will take to help America realize the virtues it fancies about itself, what it desperately needs to become in the world?"

When I noticed Bill Clinton so angry with Barack Obama for winning S.C. it made me take a closer look at Barack. A couple of weeks later he was giving a speech, I was cleaning the kitchen barely paying attention. Suddenly I HEARD him, the hair went up on my arms, and I said to myself, "That sounds EXACTLY like Bobby Kennedy, and I began listening very closely. Then Teddy & Caroline Kennedy endorsed him, and I thought, "Wow! this is pretty great". I still didn't think he had a chance. But he did, other people heard him too. Now he is the presumptive nominee. A year ago no one knew who he was! Now I am CERTAIN he WILL be our next president, and he will be GREAT! These are truly remarkable times. We are watching the rebirth of the democratic party, with new leadership, and an 'awakening' in our country. Millions of newly registered voters can only be good for the democratic process. These are exciting times!
