Welcome to Florida's African Ancestry Heritage "Research Group"

This is one of many special projects provided by The Florida GenWeb, Inc. and we welcome your contributions of Obituaries, Death, Marriage, Birth and Military records. You may also add family stories, photos and unique historical documents that portray Florida's African Ancestry.

Membership is open to all researching and/or contributing to Florida's African Ancestry cultural heritage. We plan to make this group very different from the others...we are more than just a MESSAGE BOARD and as the Moderator, I give an earnest effort to help you start your ancestral search or chip away at that Brick Wall. Everyone stays on topic so it does not become an unproductive Chat Room that does not benefit our genealogical objectives.

A little about me, your Moderator; I have been successful in helping others trace their family's African ancestry since 1996 as I struggled with finding my own relatives. Over the years, I have successfully helped more than 100 "Beginning" researchers get beyond “Brick Walls” or give them a *Jump Start* in developing their prized heirloom..." The Family Tree".
