The purpose of the Florida Boatanchors E-mail List
is to facilitate communication among those radio
enthusiasts in the State of Florida who enjoy collecting,
repairing, restoring, trading, buying and selling older
radio transmitters, receivers and accessories. Enthusiasts in
other locations are welcome too but please realize
that the focus will be on Florida. Any ads are welcome here
as long as they relate to radios and electronics.

Examples: A T60 transmitter, a 6L6 tube or a GPS would be OK.
A toaster or a bicycle would be off topic and annoy others.

Off topic (OT) subjects ARE allowed. However, you should mark
them with "OT:" at the beginning of your subject line so that
members who do not wish to read such messages may filter them
out and they will not see them.

The list is known as "FLBOATANCHORS" on the Yahoo Groups system.

RULE # 1 - Do not be too easily annoyed. Use mail filters or
the delete key.

RULE #2 - Do not be too annoying. Count to ten before you hit
the SEND key!

RULE #3 - No public barbecues. If someone bothers you here,
please take it private.

We share information about radios, accessories and parts,
upcoming events such as Hamfests, swapmeets, club gatherings,
FAWG meetings etc. We also help one another with tips,
modification information, service information etc.

To participate in this group you DO need to get e-mails.
You can choose between Daily Digest mode OR getting the individual
e-mails, but we want everyone to participate in e-mails which
are the main function.
