I would add that Betty's Bait and Tackle on North College is a great place for fishing info. I don't think you need to register a kayak since it is paddled,

Many of the bodies of water you may see on Google maps, etc. are private waters.  Check with the Colorado department of wiildlife to see which ones are open

Great. I thought some might be closed to kayaking and fishing because they were used as drinking water sources. Thanks.
