We are a gathering of Unitarian Universalist Young Adults who come together for social activities, community service, worship education. Our events combine fun, fellowship, learning, action in a casual, friendly environment. We strive to be a welcoming community for all persons ages 18 to 35ish regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, partner status, disability, or other factors. Anyone may attend or organize an event newcomers are particularly encouraged!
Our Activities:

Spiritual Circles: held twice a month on the 1st Monday 3rd Thursday from 7-9 PM @ the church. Circles focus on exploring theology, spirituality, other topics relevant to our well-being in a respectful, creative environment. Past topics include forgiveness, mindfulness, family. Circles are lead by a different YA member each time anyone may lead or suggest a topic. Participation in the discussion is encouraged but not mandatory.

Brunch on Sundays after the 11:15 service: meet in Fuller Hall.

Monthly potlucks: hosted by a different YA member each month.
•
Community Service projects: past projects have included volunteering at the Oregon Food Bank and helping with an “ivy pull” at Forest Park. We are currently looking for people to help organize future projects!

Less formal gatherings: if you know of an event that may be of interest (such as a speaker or event) or simply want to get a group together to go bowling or to ComedySports, etc. Anyone is welcome to post an activity.
