F.I.R.S.T. Access offers education to individuals with developmental disabilites and their support networks about public supports and how to self-advocate within the system as it exists in the Western Highlands region of North Carolina. The intent of this site is to provide an overview of how state supports are managed/delivered, post seminars and classes as offered, and to provide a forum for ideas to be discussed and opinions expressed. The site will be moderated to ensure all content remains polite, courteous and professional.
