Hello. My name is Karen. I am a HS to 6 children. Only 3 of my children do
what would be considered formal school learning but I still consider HS ALL of
them. :) My oldest just turned 10 last week. The ages of my children are
10G, 8B, 6G, 4B, 2B, 7(mos)G. I have been married to my dh for almost 13 years.

I am not new to notebooking, per se. In fact, when I was an 8th grade teacher
it's something I tried to implement in my classroom. That is very hard to do
when you have 150 students that could care less about their education. :(

I bought "Ignite the Fire" off ebay a few weeks ago and have already been trying
to implement the ideas. My 8yod approaches his education in a delight directed
way so I am letting him teach me a bit. I have always encouraged him to run
after what he's interested in. Now I must figure out how to fan the flame in my
other children. I am very excited to be in this group and hope to learn much
from you all. :)
