"Free in NY" is the official FINY daily annoucement list. Here we provide a space for frugile New Yorkers and hip urbanites to share information on free happenings in New York City. You can post anything from free music concerts to poetry readings. In time, I hope to this make list the #1 spot for getting free stuff in New York. No more paying for high priced tickets for movies or concerts. Just check your email inbox once a week for FINY Digest. Not only will you be able to find out about free events but you will be able to see pollings on the best freebies in the city and tips to how to attend exclusive events like movie screenings and get hot urban gear for free. Why you ask we do this? Because I want to provide average New Yorkers especially struggling artists and students a way to enjoy all that New York has to offer without breaking their wallet. Also, out-of-towners can get in on the action and show the terrorist that we Americans aren't that easily intimidated. NYC Thank you for your support and love.

3. Frequency? Is it a one-time thing or a concert series
4. List any event schedule website or contact info
5. Is it open to the public or do you have to RSVP?
