Fiberarts Connection of Southern California is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization organized to assist emerging and physically challenged fiberartists with getting good exposure and personal development.

We offer one or more juried challenges or competitions a year followed by traveling venues in California and throughout the United States.

Although there are never any guarantees with juried events, this site is intended to teach you some of the important things you need to learn in ordered to have a strong chance of getting into a juried event. We also will deal with how to make good choices when you are entering events so that you will have a consistent performance record of finishing your pieces and getting in all the required paperwork and entry fees in a timely manner. We can show you how to write a strong statement, and how to put together your own portfolio for presenting yourself professionally. And we can provide information for getting the most out of whatever resources you have to put into your professional career.

As a member of this list, you can post your fiberarts pieces for critiques that will be objective and professionally given. And you can keep up with the news of our upcoming events, etc.

There are no memberships per se other than signing onto the list and getting approved by the administrators. This is just to prevent spammers or those with other agendas. We do not talk about other things except our fiberarts work, shows and other related topics, and no flaming or inappropriate treatment of others is allowed here, so it is a safe place to grow your work AND your professional development as a fiberartist.
