The FHEdu E-Group is an extension of Forsyth Home Educators, a homeschool support group in Forsyth County, located in the Triad of North Carolina. Most members live in the Winston-Salem area, but we welcome home educators in the counties surrounding Forsyth.

Formed in 1989, FHE represents hundreds of families educating children in our homes. Although guided by Christian principle and practice, the group welcomes everyone. We acknowledge our responsibility as parents to be the primary educators of our children. Each homeschool is as diverse as the needs and preferences of each unique family.

The members of the FHEdu E-Group exchange a variety of information to assist in our daily lives as homeschoolers. Perhaps even more important, we are a community where we encourage one another in our homeschool way of life.

Membership to the FHEdu E-Group is open to anyone (per approval) who is considering homeschooling, plans to homeschool, is currently homeschooling or has graduated homeschooled children!

Please join us. We hope you find useful information, helpful suggestions and sustaining support as we take this homeschooling journey together.
