Re: alchemy yarn

I came across a pattern from stitchdiva.com not long ago for "throat
adornments." I just did the throat cuff (item B from tha pattern) and think that
alchemy yarn would work really well for it as well. They recommended Tilli
Thomas beaded silk (and that is what I used), but the texture of alchemy would
work really well for it also. I have used Alchemy before in other things and the
bamboo would give it just enough stiffness that I think the Tilli Thomas lacks.

I usually take whatever I am felting, out of the washer, squeeze out the hot water (be careful), run it under cold water, squeeze it out and then throw it back...

What makes a project "felt" is a little soap and aggitation.  I believe warm water is the temp ussually recommended.  I have had a project felt a ton in one...
