This group has been created for ALL residents of Felmersham and Radwell to complement Felmersham.net. It provides a quick and easy way to be informed about things going in the villages. Useful or important information is delivered instantly by email to members, unlike a website which relies on people regularly checking it.

Items entered into the Calendar eg waste collection, Parish meetings etc. can be set to automatically email reminders.

It can also be used as a forum to discuss local matters; to share things of interest; as a noticeboard; to provide information or ask questions - all by email in an immediate way.

One potential use could be to advise people of the depth of the water during times of flooding. So next time it floods note the water depths on the gauges and email the group as soon as possible.

In fact it can be used for almost anything as long as it is not likely to cause offense. However it does not replace the website. The group is not a place to store lots of information, especially if it needs to be organised or structured, or stored for any length of time.

The group is aimed at residents of the Parish and is open to all.

Anonymous membership is not allowed - identity may be hidden from the group but not from the moderator. However everyone is encouraged to identify themselves in their messages.

In most instances messages are distributed immediately without any censoring or moderation. However the moderators reserve the right to remove any submissions deemed offensive or undesirable, and cancel the membership of anyone who persists in submitting such material.
