The Ad revenue at FreeSharing.org is usually about $15 a month from
the Google ads, which only pay out when the total is over $100 so
about twice a year I get about $100 dropped into my bank account.
There are also the Text Link Ads that show up in the header, the
current one is for Vehicle Donation, and that earns me $6.37 a month
flat rate regardless of click thru.
So I gross about 70 cents a day on average for the ads, which is used
to offset hosting costs, and occasionally to take my wife out to
dinner after a Google Ad payment.
I'm not getting rich off of FreeSharing.org, but because I am also not
a rich person (currently earning $6.50/hr at a video rental store) I
really can't afford too much expense for hosting either.
Speaking of work, I'm heading there now til about 1am, so if you have
any other questions about FS's operations I can answer them then.

and there. In fact they are less intrusive (to me) than the Yahoo ads
we are bombarded with.
