Description

This group is for promoting fun amateur radio in Franklin County VA. Anyone interested in doing any contesting, fox hunts, or any other things let me [KD4TMB] know. Kit building, restoring old radios, I'm sure that there is someone in the area that can help. Hunting, Fishing or camping, there are several hams in the county that share the same interests.
Interested in Emergency Comms or CW? The W4FCR radio club is based in Rocky Mount VA. They have an EOC in the local Red Cross building which is located on West Franklin Street beside Randys Auto Sales. Everyone is welcome to the meetings. Club dues are at this time $12.00 a year.
