Topics discussed by this group include alternative science and worldview theories, subterranean mysteries, paranormal and fortean phenomena, ufology, cryptozoology, anomalous archaeology, urban legend and conspiracy topics, mythological and traditional religious views (Christian, Judaic, Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist, etc.) on these topics and related subjects. Also, topics of discussion here include science fiction as well as its transition to reality or real-world application, and quality fantasy or weird fiction. Writers, researchers, and editors on these topics are particularly welcome.

No severe flaming beyond friendly disputes, no comic book topics (unless relating to Fortean research), plagiarism, slander, libel, etc. will be tolerated. The moderator reserves the right to remove offenders with or without warning. No raving attacks against individuals or belief-systems will be tolerated. Disputing a system or theory is fine, but vitriolic attacks waste everyone's time. Only logical posts of an evidentiary nature should be used to dispute a religious or philosophical point of view or theory.
