You are NOT too late for the Autism Spectrum DIVERSITY Group!
The Autism Spectrum DIVERSITY Group will meet on Saturday,
September 30th, from 2:00-4:30 at the AADD offices.
Do you and your children get overloaded?
Are you perhaps sensitive to sounds, light, smell or touch?
Is it nice for you to be alone, except that you wish you
had friends, or that you understood the people around you more?
Is it your dream to be married but you have no idea how
to make someone you are attracted to, want you?
When you're performing a task, do you have trouble stopping?
Does having someone change plans in the middle upset you?
If you were called AD/HD or even if you weren't ...
come see the world through differently colored glasses.
"If autistic people pick up on anything, we pick up that the way
we are is considered deeply defective. Stupid-looking. Bad."
-Anonymous
The Autism Spectrum Diversity Group is not just for and about
children or even adults who know they have autism; it's for
and about everyone who wonders if they have traits as well.
Visit with us and see that having a Spectrum Difference
isn't all bad!
Our heroes include Albert Einstein, Marie Curie and Thomas
Edison, to name a few.
The September meeting will be on Saturday, September 30, from 2:00
to 4:30 at the AADD offices on Cliff Valley Way.
DIVERSITY group meets the last Saturday of every month, mark
your calendars for October 28, November 25th and December 23
or 30, depending on YOU letting me know which is better?
We have a proposal for a weeknight meeting. If the last
Saturday is full for you, is Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday better?
Plenty of FREE PARKING, GREAT SEATS, snacks, drinks and even TOYS!
Children of all ages are welcome, there is room to spread out.
Please come!!!
