The Family Support Policy Council is an advisory group that includes people with disabilities, family members of children and adults who are disabled, providers of services, and agency representatives.The Family Support Policy Council is to provide advice and recommendations about Family Support programs and services in Georgia. Family Support Policy Council
members are to provide suggestions on best practices and policies, based on their life and work experiences, so that
Family Support services might best meet the needs of people
with disabilities and their families, while being as cost
efficient as possible.
