Girl Scout Promise-

Girl Scout Law-

Girl Scout handshake-
This is a formal way of greeting other Girl Scouts. You shake hands with the left hand and give the Girl Scout sign with your right hand.

Girl Scout sign-
This is made by raising three fingers of the right hand. The sign stands for the three parts of the Girl Scout Promise.

The Girl Scout quiet sign-
This is used at meetings and other gatherings to let people know it is time to stop talking. This is made by raising your right hand high with three fingers (Girl Scout Sign). As people in the group see the quiet sign, they stop talking and also raise their hands. Once everyone is silent, the meeting continues.

The Friendship circle-
This stands for an unbroken chain of friendship with Girl Scouts and Girl Guides all around the world. Girl Scouts and leaders stand in a circle. Each person crosses her right arm over her left and clasps hands with her friends on both sides. Everyone makes a silent wish as a friendship squeeze is passed from hand to hand. Form a friendship circle with the girls in your group and try a friendship squeeze.
