Hi, Stephen!
Thanks! I love you all, just busy to the max. The Lord has been blessing in
incredible ways, our lives, work, church...it is very
sweet indeed!
I will be getting to installments of what I want to say about interpreting John
3:16 soon. Also, one of the courses, out of the ten,
is a careful reading of Packer's Introduction to Owen's Death of Death, Owen's
"Display of Arminianism", and Owen's "Death of Death in
Christ Jesus", so I will be writing commentary to all of these beginning next
week. I am more than willing to bring this material to
a forum of interested folk on the net. So, if you want to continue our
discussion from the past about this, that would be fine with
me.
I am also working on commentary on Heidegger's "Being and TIme" have about 50
pages on his two introductions and I am working on the
next chapters. Students in this course who are also in the epistemology course
reading Audi's book in Epistemology, are seeing just
how much "Being and Time" is a book on knowledge and that the knowledge it deals
with is, is foundational for the kinds of knwledge
that Audi speaks about. They are fascinated by this discovery! Even Audi's
"Moderate Foundationalism" has foundations in the kinds
of existential structures and processes that Heidegger describes.
I trust that the move went well on Saturday, given the great number of emails
that you have generated!!!!!!
I also am following with great interest Spurrier's coaching the Redskins. I get
the Washington Times sent to me. Spurrier has his
hands full with Snyder and the quarterback situation. It will be interesting to
see how this new job develops for him.
Thanks for the note!
I am amazed at the volume of email on fm!
Blessings,
Jon
