EMAIL POLICY: The list is moderated, and a specific email policy is still evolving.


The following are examples of emails that would ALWAYS BE APPROPRIATE: (i) community events; (ii) shul events of interest; (iii) shiva notices; (iv) community blood drives; etc.


The following are examples of emails that would GENERALLY BE APPROPRIATE: (i) houses for sale in Fair Lawn ONLY; (ii) garage sales; (iii) lost and found; (iv) information about softball leagues; (v) parlor meeting at your house; (vi) requests for community action on behalf of Israel; etc.

Please note that houses for sale outside the Fair Lawn area will not be posted.


The following are examples of emails that would NEVER BE APPROPRIATE: (i) jokes; (ii) auctions; (iii) offensive or disparaging emails;(iv) op ed pieces; (v) Lashon Hara and (vi) business posts for businesses not in Fair Lawn.
Should there be a need for business posts in the future, we can set up a few days per month where business posts will be allowed.


DO NOT REPEAT POSTS: If you are selling an item and there is a material change in price you can repost after a month (after 2 weeks in the case of sale of a home).
