Banaire,in Banning,Ca has 10" inner tubes that have an offset valve stem. That is to say the valve stem is not in the center of the tube but, off to the side.

Any chance of seeing a head on shot of that tail wheel? I am collecting photographs of tail wheels that are applicable to Fairchild 24's. I'll eventually post

As someone else mentioned there should be a cover over the stem. In most cases it's "solid" wheel with only a slot opening for the stem and a small curved over
