A brief history…FaFNY.org has been around for over 4 years and we are the voice for non-custodial parents across New York State. We found ourselves in a state that no longer holds any value to the US Constitution. Our rights have been stripped from us. Our children’s rights have been stripped. It’s a battle that has been fought and won in Federal courts. We have the right to parent our children and our children have the right to parented by us.

No government shall come in a take our children from us and order them raised by someone else – that is – unless that someone else is your child’s other parent and you live in the North East.

We are a lobbing group; we are not the whiners others talk about. We are not the radicals others call us – we are the hard working – honest citizens of New York that have for one reason or another had our children taken from us by the State, usually at the request of someone that trusted us enough to have children with us.

Time and time we have presented psychological reports that have proven that two parents are better then one, yet our judicial system doesn’t think so, and lawyers know all. They sure know what’s better for our children then we do and what the doctors do.

With the average divorce and/or custody case costing more then $20,000 and up ward to $500,000 or more and the average somewhere around $100,000 for each parent, who’s doing who here and why would they change anything?

We are here to say ENOUGH! They wouldn’t listen to us talking, we are in the process of moving it up a step.
