Free Fey = people who aren’t bound by dogma or other restrictions, & who nevertheless realize the power, fun, & necessity of tribe. A Free Fey might be pagan, Christian, Buddhist, or . . . . or be perfectly fine 'n' dandy SANS a tradition.

Faerie Nation celebrates the lone wolf; we are a PACK of wolves. We are paradox, the split second between boredom and fear: ecstasy. Star-drenched!

Don't fit my description of members? This Fey-touched tribe is for anyone who wants to join it. The merely curious, wildly confused, thoroughly hostile, perfectly cynical, and "I-won't-join-because-I'll-never-fit-in" folks have a place with us. Even fundies are welcome. (Though we might put bells on you so you can't sneak up on the children.)

Participate how YOU want. E.g., if you hang out with us only by reading our mag or list-lurking, awesome! No forced activities in OUR tribe!

FOLKS WHO DON'T ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING KINDNESSES CAN REMAIN IN FAERIE NATION BUT MUST TAKE TIME OUT FROM THE LIST TIL THEY SUPPORT AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE WILD SOULS CAN RUN FREE:
* Wild souls bolt if you're unkind. Don't attack. Being gentle won't squelch your heathen spirit, but instead provides the caring a wolf gives its cubs. Freedom doesn't = meanness.
* Mystics in the marketplace (yay!), mention goods/services in just a sentence or two; folks can contact you off-list for more info. Exception: No such limits when your work’s relevant to a topic, or you need to discuss it as part of your life.
* No fundamentalism: not Christian, Wiccan, political, personal . . .
