The Faeid fellowship, created in 2000 by Leaf McGowan, is designed to bring together Faeries, Elves, Humans, and Mixes; as well as enthusiasts, who want to network together about the Faery realms and kingdoms. As a group, The Faeid Fellowship has a prime objective to not only bring together Faeids and to enhance the understanding of Faeidism/Faeidry, but to share religious practice, preserve faery lore and traditions, and educate the world about "the Faery Truth". Our objective is to bridge the gap between the Human Realms and that of the Realms to Faery. Faeidism / Faeidry are the religious and magical practices of Faeries and humans as revealed to Leaf McGowan during his faery experiences and dreams and the growing knowledge of the elders who are joining the Faeid fellowship. Faeidism is a way of life. It can fall under the guise of religion. It however exists primarily as a "lifestyle". Faeidism has nothing to do with Victor Andersen's Wiccan tradition of Faery Faith, nor with the Radical Faerie movement, though members, elders, contributors, and participants may or may not be associated with this separate organizations. The term Faeid was coined by anthropologist Tom Baurley in 1986 during his ethnologies of Neo-Paganism in North America.
