This group is for anybody who creates or colors their own fabric for any artistic purpose.
Painting, dyeing, stamping, burnout, bleaching. Anything and everything you can do to fabric will be discussed! Mixed media techniques (fabric and paper), art to wear, art quilts, 3-D works, art dolls are all welcome here!
Share pictures of fabrics you're creating, finished projects, experimental fabrics.
We will also discuss different products to use, books, suppliers, inspirations, great articles (we love the magazines Quilting Arts, Cloth Paper Scissors, Belle Armoire, Somerset Studios, Art Doll Quarterly) Anything to keep us coloring and creating our own fabrics for our fiber art!
Our group exists primarily to share information in a personal way that goes beyond advertisements. Our policies about posting ads include:

1)Members may post a message to direct other members to websites with items for sale that are relevant to this group (dyes, fabrics, paints, etc.)and those messages are NOT to be posted repeatedly--no more than one every two weeks for the same items.

2)Messages that are for the purpose of site advertisement and sales will have the word "AD-" at the beginning of the subject line.

3)Members who post only advertisements or repeated advertisements will be placed on moderated status.

No flaming please. No adult topics. On topic only discussions, please!
