Description

Welcome to ExtroBritannia.

ExtroBritannia is, for historical reasons, both the mailing list and the monthly public event of the UK Transhumanist Association.

This list is meant as a networking tool and notice board for local meetings/events for UK futurists, extropians, transhumanists and anybody else interested in the impact of technology on the human condition.

Whether your interest is in meeting like-minded individuals socially or for discussion groups on subjects ranging from nanotechnology to the singularity, from life-extension to immortalism, from extropian activism to cryonics, ExtroBritannia is your starting point.

For info on the next event see: ExtroBritannia BLOG

GET INVOLVED: do you want to help with the running of ExtroBritannia? Send an email to estropico at gmail.com

(Subscribers are reminded of the standard precautions generally recommended when meeting anybody contacted over the internet: meet in a public place, tell somebody where you are going to be, etc. No screening of list members is possible and this should be kept in mind when first organising local meetings).
