Description
The Ex-Satsangi Support Group
This group began as a forum for people who were trying to clarify their thinking and understanding about what Sant Mat and Radha Soami Mat were, after having been deeply involved in it and then realizing that something was not right.
It was starting to look as though the Master, even though he might have some spiritual powers, was not the complete "god in human form" that he was supposed to be, but actually was an ordinary person, perhaps having admirable qualities, but ultimately someone who was play-acting, leading a sangat and pretending to be a “Perfect Living Master".
His name could be Sardar Thakar Singh, or Maharaj Charan Singh, or Rajinder, or Kirpal, or Gurinder, or Sawan, or Darshan, or Ajaib, or Jagat – there are more than 100 "Sant Mat" gurus who are supposed to be merged with Brahman, or with the highest creative principle of the universe, and lead sangats based in this claim.
Fear and confusion sometimes occurs when a disciple first dares to consider that his guru may be involved in a fraudulent enterprise. And how is one to understand all those "kind hearted souls" with shining faces, living near or part of the "Master's" inner circle, with their wonderful stories of miracles and secret experiences which they confide that they have had with the "Master"?
It is very sad when you find out that they are also part of the same scam. Most of them know that the "Master" is not really "god" but they choose to dissimulate. They want to remain a part of the Master’s inner circle. And by encouraging you to believe and have devotion to the "Master" they themselves can share a part in a wonderful god-story and can be treated with reverence by trusting seekers. This group is sometimes quiet for a long period of time, but then it can suddenly spring to life when a new person arrives with questions. If you have some questions, don't be afraid to ask.

Yes, he was well-liked but a bit of showman....think he was eventually taken off the satsang circuit.
