This group is for ex-Baha'is and Baha'is questioning their faith, to discuss the positive and negative aspects of the Baha'i religion, share and explore other spiritual paths and beliefs, and support each other in moving beyond the Baha'i Faith. Non-Baha'is are also invited to join to learn about the Baha'i Faith from a critical perspective.

Baha'is who wish to join should understand that this group is not a place for promoting or defending the Baha'i Faith. People who have never been involved in or affected by the Baha'i Faith are not allowed to come here to spread their own religious views, and anyone who adheres to any "fundamentalist" form of religion will probably feel uncomfortable in the atmosphere of this group. In general, proselytizing and angry religious debate are prohibited, but friendly and open-minded discussion of religious beliefs and organizations is encouraged, with the goal of helping people continue their own spiritual journey outside the confines of the Baha'i Faith. Personal attacks and spam are strictly prohibited on ex-bahai. The moderators may delete from the archive any off-topic or inflammatory post and will remove members who repeatedly violate list policies.
