The Ebionite Jewish Community restored the authentic ancient Ebionite Movement in 1985 and represents the followers of Yeshua bar Yosef today. This list was started in 1996 at egroups.

Evyonim (Ebionites) are restorers of the earliest Yahwistic non-christian, non-pauline sect rediscovering the teachings (halakha) Yeshua bar-Yosef of the first century. Ebionites are Torah observant (Torah sh'biktav-Written Torah) and require devotion to God's Torah, circumcision (for the uncircumcised), and immersion for converts. We are the real "Mission to the Gentiles."

Our message is that Yeshua was not a god, a christ, or the way of salvation, but that he tried to bring the Messiah through Yahwistic reformation of the Jewish People. In this way, he sought to bring judgment upon the gentiles from God if they would not surrender to God through conversion. We encourage proselytizing gentiles but not Jews. This list serves to help coordinate the efforts and energies of the Yahad 'Evyônî --Ebionite Jewish Community.
