Open Mics: Thanks to Classic Cup, Passport, Margarita Grille, and Koos for hosting the Dec 2003 Open Mics!
The Prime Spot Open Mic took place at Gallery Eleven/Seven Every Monday during 2003. Started by TAMMY MORALES ("No Discretion"), it was then hosted by PAUL HOGUE. Musician ALONZO XZAVIER. wrapped up the year 2003 quite nicely. Check out this VERY consistent Open Mic in the eVillage: SHADES OF AFRICKA, Every Saturday, hosted by Mista JayCee. SHADES is located at 3rd and Elm, just across from the LB Post Office parking lot. OPEN MICS are a great way to see a city "from the inside, out"!

You can read the archives if you wish, however eastvillageartsdistrict.org (aka the evfriends yahoogroup) is the current updated site. It was moved from the G117 address to emphasize that the site is for the district as a whole (to self-promote), not just specific gallery. Please note that I am no longer associated with Gallery Eleven/Seven however I think the world of the Founders and the Co-op concept is a great one!
