This Yahoo group is to encourage members to express the changes they have made and the beliefs they have come to since leaving the Institutional Church. I hope this can be a place for discussing leaving the system, and more importantly, moving forward. If you have questions or are feeling all alone in the journey, this list is a great way to connect with others who are going through the same things or who have already gone through them.

We call these changes we wrestle with 'HEART CHANGES'.

These heart changes are one of the most important things that define us and define our journey. If we understand these heart changes, that will be an incrediable guide to how we think, act, and prepare for the future.

If this seems a tad confusing, ask yourself the question below and write your answers.

If you rejoined today the last 'normal church' you were involved with, what heart changes have happaned to you that would affect / change / inhibit you from becoming the key church member you once were. These heart changes may be theological / practical / lifestyle or simply a feeling.

We DO NOT believe in a clergy / laity distinction. No promotion of "the ministry" or "clergy" will be permitted.

Personal attacks (flames) are to be avoided. If anyone practices such behavior, he / she will be removed from the list until they repent.
