Description

Defending America has to rely on good common sense.

Putting a 1776-foot building in New York at the World Trade site is a challenge to this world's nuts to commit mass murder.

"You can't hit us ! Again !!"

So, how does President Obama feel about this ???

Meanwhile, Afghanistan is being converted from a search-and-destroy war over to protecting civilians and modern COIN. Gen. McChrystal knows his stuff.

Problem is, offense for a COIN war depends on doing effective back-tracking. Afghanistan is both a drug war and a tracking war.

The Dutch have bloodhounds working in Uruzgan province. Australia uses the Bloodies there, too. Meanwhile the U.S. hasn't used nose dogs or had integrated Combat Tracking Teams for back-tracking since 1975.

U.S. Army had 537 dog teams in 2007. Perfect for tracking. Not one of these teams is being used to seal off the Pakistan border or to track assassination teams.

Tactics, man. Tactics.
