I am hoping to travel for an extended time
through Europe (my first time) starting in the Fall
(2000). I would appreciate any info, tips, advice, etc.
that visitors to this club could provide. I'm looking
to backpack (maybe camp). Other than looking forward
to a great experience, I would like to use this
opportunity to be the eyes and ears for my 2 young daughters
and bring them back something special. I hope to
chronicle my experience with cultures, people and historic
(and not-so-historic) places through various differect
media (writing, photography, art, ect.) to give them a
sense of what I experience and to inspire them to
travel when they get a little older.

Thanks!

Hi! Some friends and I are inter-railing Holland, France, Spain, Portugal and
Morrocco(?), in September. I'd be interested in talking to anyone planning a
similar journey.

Jorge:

Suerte En Deutschland
y cualquier cosa estoy para
ayudarte.

Eduardo

the country, I hope to have the time to get know it
well, or at least something.

I just have some
questions:

1)Whats the best way to pack my stuff, specialy
clothes?
2)How do I pack my clothes in a way that they
dont wrinkle?
3)Is the camera film espensive in
Germany? in Mexico I can get 6 kodak iso 400 ultra with 24
shots for 16-17 USD, should I buy this here or

Hello!
What you are planning to do is exactly
what i'm doing now!I am an Australian, but i also have
British citizenship- which is very helpful for working in
the U.K or Europe. If you have a mother ,father or
grandparent, you can claim a british passport through ancestry
etc.
Its such a worthwhile thing to look into cause its
made working over here(u.k)a lot easier.
Also by
basing yourself in britian before heading off to europe
you find that a lot of better deals can be found when
booking your tickets. Although the rate of exchange from
Aus$$ to U.K.£ is depressing its alot better if you
earn extra money before you leave Aus.

I have stayed in London several time and the
cheapest place I stayed was just outside Victoria Station.
(Can't remember name) but go to the accomodation box
inside the station & they will put you in touch with a
cheap hostel for approx 15 pounds per night. Reductions
sometimes if you stay longer, or hand out flyers
etc.

I think that the accomodation place charges approx
1.50 (pounds) for this service.
