The Caledonia Etree is a networking bulletin board for our SE Wisconsin and Northern Illinois horse and nature loving community. This is a volunteer service I began in 2002. I named it Etree when thinking of information branching out via email; it reaches 425+ families so far.


Please send your 200 word (maximum) bulletins TO: horseart2@gmail.com
Write PLEASE POST TO ETREE in the subject line.
Send ONLY a typed email paragraph of 200 words maximum
that I can just cut and paste to post.
No photos.
NO fliers.
LIST your email address, and a phone number right in the content of your bulletin.
SIGN it so folks know who posted it.
Submissions are edited at my discretion.


Etree goes out at random times. Don't wait until just before your event to send in your bulletin!
EXCEPTION: for loose, lost or found pets I will gladly(!) put out an emergency Etree as soon as I am told about it.

The intent is for this to entertain and be a help to our community.

CONTENT: Etree is a local "neighborhood thing" and not meant to run advertising for stores or businesses although we mention some from time to time. We love local news, notice of group rides, items for sale or wanted, trailering needed or offered, farm sitting or commercial Caledonia boarding offered,and notice of club events. Recipies, trail hazard warnings, auctions & many items of animal or Caledonia lifestyle interest! Need a good fencepost source? Send in bulletins asking for feedback from Etree readers too.

Please NOTE: I have limited time to post things and I do not wish this to be a forum for controversial topics. I MAY post items, but from there on please communicate directly with the postee if you have a differing opinion.
