This group is designed to provide support and knowledge to those that are in the process of adopting or adjusting to a new family member(s). YOU MUST BE SIGNED WITH AN AGENCY TO BE APPROVED FOR MEMBERSHIP.

Agencies will not be allowed to join this group. Employees of agencies who are also in the process of adopting from Ethiopia will be allowed to join as long as they maintain the confidentiality of this group. What is said here remains here. This forum will not be used to bash or advertise for an agency. In order to avoid this members must first be signed with an agency before being approved to be a member of this group.

Members agree to be honest and open with members while maintaining civility towards each other. People are not expected to agree with everything said here but they are required to be polite. Conversations should be kept to adoption related. People are encouraged to develop relationships and off topic conversations should be taken off the group.

Ethiopia and adoption from Ethiopia is both a very rewarding and very challenging process. We can be each others support through a group that shares information, resources, and options. This group is people who want to make the process and the transition better for all those involved.
