The esralist has been formed as a network giving the opportunity for ESRA members and volunteers to exchange information and views on topics of relevance to ESRA activities and other matters of common interest.
ESRA's slogan is 'Volunteering Together for the Community'. ESRA is an organisation that was founded in 1979 with the primary aim of helping English speakers in the Sharon area to integrate into Israeli society. Since then it has matured into an organisation with branches all over Israel and hundreds of volunteers helping in all spheres of Israeli society. ESRA also sponsors and raises money for many projects to aid the disadvantaged sectors of our society, together with municipal and government agencies.
