ePub -- the written word.   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #14 of 236 |
In a recent email to Jon Noring I made a passing comment about how we
write the word "epub". The IDPF have not yet standardised the moniker,
leaving everyone to make their own interpretation.

This has been a topic around the internet these last few days so I
thought I would make this my first post.

If you've visited epubbooks.com then you would have seen my current
preference, "ePub". Over these last months I've seen it written most
ways, here are some of the most popular; ePub, Epub, EPub, EPUB, ePUB
and of course epub.

Jon Noring seems to like EPub and David Rothman (TeleRead.org) prefers
ePUB.

As a non-tech opener for the group, what are your thoughts?
