The Emirates Greeks Yahoo Group had a 5 years life (2003-2008), during which it managed to connect 350 members from UAE and other Gulf states with each other.
The Group was founded on 05 April 2003 and discontinued on 27 July 2008. It circulated a total of 1700 messages (an average of 28 messages per month) to all members.
After the introduction of the website
www.emiratesgreeks.com, the Group became less active and eventually it was replaced by the website itself.
The website is a more organized effort to keep the Greeks in the UAE connected and well informed. You can post to the website by writing to this
e-mail. Your posting will appear in the proper place in the website, according to the subject.
We have also a facebook Group under the same name (Emirates Greeks), which helps to remind facebook user members about our activities.
