The Emirates Greeks Yahoo Group had a 5 years life (2003-2008), during which it managed to connect 350 members from UAE and other Gulf states with each other.

The Group was founded on 05 April 2003 and discontinued on 27 July 2008. It circulated a total of 1700 messages (an average of 28 messages per month) to all members.

After the introduction of the website www.emiratesgreeks.com, the Group became less active and eventually it was replaced by the website itself.
