with life on the edge, we are a place were we can discuss this thing we call "faith" in the emerging/evolving church, how it develops in our lives, and where it is leading us as a emerging/evolving people. here is a safe place to question eveything [and we do mean everything] and hear the voices of others. we are born out of passion and rebellion, so our spirit is one where you will feel welcomed, and questioned - and always accepted. if you are a modern believer and desire to join to "fix" us we ask that you reconsider that point of view. while you are welocme to join, we do not need "fixing" or "directing"

this group is moderated, honest posts are never stopped, edited or ignored. the moderator has the authority to remove and ban people from this group - and they have the authority to call all members into civility.

we know we are a group of very strong personalities, and as such we need others to help keep us in even water :) it is not our intention to control any conversation, but only to help other voices be heard.

we know that two sided conversations are not real conversations, they are at best dialogs. over the past there have been more two-sided dialogs then true conversations.

the idea that while we are a emerging/evolving group, hearing voices that we disagree with can only make us stronger in our walk. moderators will have the opportunity to direct conversation and encourage others to join and share their views. your views are encouraged, but insults will not be allowed.

first time posters will continue to be approved - but all other posts will not be haulted - post will come as they come, and we would hope that all will remember that we are an emerging/evolving christian community, and as such we need to treat others with dignity -

open and honest debate will be encouraged, and people can disagree with anything - but making it personal is unacceptable.
