2010 Ellis County Homeschool Expo and Used Curriculum Sale is SET!

Join us at Waxahachie's Getzendaner Park on Saturday, April 24, from 9am to 4pm for a fun-filled informational expo. Check out the first message posted for more information, and watch this space for important updates.

In case of rain or severe wind we will be meeting at Connect4Life Church on John Arden in Waxahachie. But if the weather is nice we WILL be at the Park! :-)
We have several homeschoolers signed up, so help us advertise the event so they can get some good exposure!

On April 17, 2009 Ellis County had its first big Homeschool Expo at the Ellis County Expo Center.
More than 50 tables worth of homeschool-related stuff were shared w/ over 200 people!
Used Curriculum, private lesson opportunities, homeschool groups and co-ops, volunteer opportunities, general information, and freebies were out for discerning homeschoolers to consider. Dozens of homeschool students demonstrated their musical, acrobatic, martial arts, and theatrical ability. Speakers were on hand to discuss various topics, and several families considering homeschooling received information. The snack shop was a success too!
