SOLSTICE CUUPs is a gathering where many different Earth-based spirituality paths cross. The wealth of experience lessons of these paths are shared to enrich our lives and provide information to the community. Together, we explore the spiritual teachings of Earth-centered traditions, which celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of Nature.

Open to the public and offered at no cost, our events are presented as a means of educating ourselves and others, creating meaningful friendships, and maintaining a dependable and consistent resource base of community and support.

The council, or governing body of the group, is non hierarchical and consists of devoted SOLSTICE members. Attendance is open, however we request that you come with an open mind.

We emphasize authentic experiences and we insist on honesty and respect for differences. SOLSTICE is primarily a discussion group, but we have many hands-on activities and open circles. Throughout the year we have seasonal celebrations. Members of our UU congregation, several pagan circles many solitaries attend our meetings. We are not a coven, we are a UU Pagan forum for friendship learning.

All ages are welcome at SOLSTICE meetings. We encourage minors to bring their parents because of the controversial nature of Earth-Based Spirituality to the un- or mis-informed.

We DO NOT TOLERATE drug use (except chocolate), sexism, ageism, racism, homophobic behavior, or the bashing of ANY religious path at our meetings or on-line.
