Welcome to egpg-gifted at Yahoo! Groups.

We're an Australian support group for parents of exceptionally and profoundly gifted children – identified or otherwise. This group's focus aims to provide support and understanding for families who are dealing with the particular challenges of raising these kids. The group is based in Australia, but those from overseas are welcome.

Some members are concerned about their family’s privacy. For that reason past messages posted to this list will not be archived, which means to receive the messages on this list you must choose either "individual emails" or "digest" as your way of receiving mail - no posts will be visible on this site.

However please note that there are no controls on who may join this list. If you are wary of your (and your children's) identity being disclosed, use their initials only, don't mention any identifying information such as their school or teacher, and if you wish as an added precaution join this list using a hotmail or yahoo email account which does not include your surname.

Please note this is designed to be a supportive helpful environment, and flaming and spamming will not be tolerated - those who do not respect this will be banned from the list.
