EEJH is a mailing list for the lively discussion of everything Jewish, aiming
to keep our membership informed about what is happening to Jews
around the world, to set this information in a meaningful historical context and to bring individual Jews and Jewish communities closer together.
EEJH is a non-partisan, non-denominational list, advocating inclusiveness in Judaism and support for the State of Israel.
Established in 1994 and initially focused on Eastern European Jewish History, over time, the subject area has expanded but the acronym has been retained.
New subscribers with regular email should select Daily Digest, those with webmail should select Special Notices. No email is reserved for Temporary Absences.
The Messages Archive is open to the public and is equipped with a Search Engine which is unbelievably slow but thorough for the "patient" researcher.
The Owner and Moderator of the list is: Dr. Bryan Griffith Dobbs (bgdobbs@rogers.com). The Senior Associate Moderators are Barbara L. Taverna, Dr. Richard Benkin, Alice Kell, Randy Shiner and Dr. Bob Solomon. Other Associate Moderators are listed in the Files Section.
