This group is to allow those seeking crew, and those wishing to crew, on boats racing on the Firth of Forth.
The group is administered by the members of the Royal Forth Yacht Club but it is not restricted to just the RFYC. Please note that sailing can be dangerous and this needs to be said... It is imperative to sail safely! Ask for a safety briefing. Do not accept offers of a berth if you do not think it is safe. Make sure people know where you are and who you are with. You are responsible for your own safety equipment, life jacket and wet weather gear etc... Skippers are ultimately responsible for the safety of their crew and if inadequately prepared they may decline to take you. The moderators of this group can't be held liable for injury, or loss, how so ever caused as a result of a contact made through this group.
